Gianluca Morelli, BMT Customer Support Executive, shines a light on a new add-on for BAFTA Nucleus.
Integrated seamlessly with our end-to-end Awards Management product Nucleus, Public Voting enables large audiences to cast their vote for a chosen category. Designed to handle high volumes securely and with ease, it offers organisers the flexibility to combine expert judging with the voice of the public.
We are delighted that BAFTA Scotland recently used Public Voting to open a special category to the public for the BAFTA Scotland Awards 2025, with votes opening on Thursday 25 September and closing on Thursday 30 October.
Public Voting provides many practical benefits, including:
- The quick speed the CMS allows to set up sites
- Preview function for stakeholder sign-off
- Support for multiple nominees
- Support for both image and video main media
- Integration with Nucleus
As this tool is used during the lead-up to the ceremony, it has the added benefit of increasing engagement and creating a buzz around the event, serving as an effective marketing tool, a conversation starter for anyone that voted and builds suspense for the final results.
For organisers, the benefit goes beyond a single category. Public Voting can extend the reach of an awards programme, creating new opportunities for sponsors, and foster stronger audience engagement.
By offering participants a direct role in the outcome, organisers can build loyalty and excitement that lasts well beyond the ceremony itself.
This launch reflects the hard work of Ezgi Aygan, Product Manager, Sergio Escudero, Senior Software Engineer, Ben Jefferson, Chief Technical Officer, Stephen Griffin, Senior Software Engineer, Rowena Bartlett, UX/UI Designer, Elisabetta Mezzaro, Client Support Lead and Junior Product Manager, together with BAFTA’s amazing Comms, Partnerships and Operations teams and BAFTA Scotland who collaborated to ensure the brief was met.
